As the Demand and S&OP Manager, you will be responsible for developing a tailored demand plan that aligns with both customer needs and business objectives, while identifying and addressing gaps, risks, and opportunities across all stakeholders. You will drive the end-to-end Integrated S&OP process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal forecast accuracy. Additionally, you will lead, enhance, and advance our existing processes and procedures, working closely with sales and operations planning teams to build strong relationships and ensure that our strategies and solutions are effectively aligned with customer demands and business goals.

 

Refining Forecast Models: Review and enhance forecast models by incorporating feedback from key stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance.

 

Analysing Sales Trends: Examine historical sales trends, forecast accuracy, and bias to drive continuous improvement in forecasting and demand planning processes

 

Managing Product Life Cycle: Collaborate closely with Sales and Product Managers to support and maintain the Product Life Cycle and status for all SKUs

 

Leading S&OP Processes: Oversee and manage the Pre-Demand and Demand Review processes, as well as other demand-related activities within the S&OP framework

 

KPI Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyse key KPI reports on forecast accuracy and demand trends to support the monthly S&OP cycle and inform strategic decisions

 

Coordinating Cross-Functional Research: Facilitate cross-functional research to address significant variances and refine forecast models as needed

 

Leadership in Demand Planning S&OP: Guide and inspire through the demand planning and S&OP processes, fostering collaboration, driving strategic alignment, and ensuring that best practices are implemented to achieve accurate forecasts and seamless operations.

 

 

YOUR SKILLS

As a Demand Planning S&OP Manager, you will be a results-driven professional with a commercial mindset, capable of managing detailed planning processes. You will handle challenging situations with confidence and encourage innovative ideas from others. Managing over 6,000 SKUs, this role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong forecasting and demand planning skills.

Key skills and experiences that will see you succeed in the role are:

Extensive Demand Planning Experience: Proven track record in demand planning, with a deep understanding of forecasting methodologies and S&OP processes.

 

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): At least 3 years of experience in S&OP, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop S&OP processes effectively.

 

Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with a passion for working with data and figures to drive insights and decision-making.

 

Project Management: Experience in managing and executing project-based work, particularly in complex and challenging forecasting environments.

 

Advanced IBP Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools and modern demand planning technologies.

 

Strong Presentation Skills: Ability to engage, present, and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders.

 

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building: Proven skills in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including managing expectations and handling forecasting frustrations.

 

Effective Communication: The ability to clearly and concisely convey information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, while actively listening to others

 

Resilience and Problem-Solving: Ability to handle forecasting challenges with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
