Field Technical Trainer

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to provide training and assessment services in support of the skill development, of our Service Technicians & Agents. Working alongside the National Training & Field Assessment Manager and the broader Technical Training and Service Team, you will develop and implement effective local processes, impart your technical expertise, and support in the generation of training packages.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate within the dormakaba network to update existing training material to reflect changes in product and procedure as well as maintain awareness of safety initiatives.
  • Create training presentations, manuals, and course outlines to contribute and improve training documentation.
  • Confidently and effectively deliver technical training.
  • Perform field audits and technical assessments for continuous improvement initiatives and grading outcomes.
  • Recommend appropriate remedial training and strategies to ensure learner effectiveness.
  • Provide support to various stakeholders to assist in resolving technical queries.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and evaluation through consultation with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and ultimately improve the effectiveness of training.
  • Adapt learning delivery to suit a variety of audiences in a wide range of workplace settings, while still meeting key learning outcomes, performance indicators and quality levels.

 

This role will be based in Hallam. Some interstate travel will be required.

 

YOUR SKILLS

Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar position, facilitating training and conducting assessments within a field role. An understanding of technical product training will be highly beneficial.

  • Experience within a service department or similar working environment.
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment is desirable but not essential.  
  • Strong Analytical capabilities.
  • The ability to facilitate, mentor, coach and build relationships to create lasting relationships and to promote behavioural change.
  • Stakeholder management capabilities, allowing you to foster collaborative partnerships with all levels of our business.
