We have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to join our broader Strategic Sales team at dormakaba, a global leader in smart access solutions. Based at our Hallam (Melbourne) or Moorebank (Sydney) office, you will take ownership of a portfolio of our national customers, known as ‘national accounts’, ensuring ongoing satisfaction while identifying new growth opportunities across multiple verticals.
In this role, you will build upon established relationships with customers and partners, working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and align them with our diverse range of access solutions and services. You’ll act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, delivering sustainable, tailored solutions that support our customers’ evolving needs while adhering to agreed contractual agreements.
This role will be commencing in July 2025
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the key point of contact for national customers and ensuring their needs are handled in a timely manner.
- Being accountable for your portfolio by ensuring that the services provided meet client budgets and requirements.
- Monitor the performance of corporate agreements to ensure desired performance levels are being met, resolving non-conformances in a professional and expedient manner
- Collaborate with internal teams including product management and service delivery to support and enhance customer experience.
- Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within our organisation
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and explore renewal opportunities and communicate with the appropriate internal teams regularly
YOUR SKILLS
You’re a relationship-driven professional with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen. You thrive in a multifaceted environment and are passionate about delivering value to clients while working collaboratively across teams within dormakaba.
The following skills and experience will lead to your success:
- Previous experience as an account manager, juggling the priorities that come with the role.
- A track record of meeting and exceeding sales or service targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A consultative approach with the ability to understand and translate customer needs into solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce CRM and SAP is advantageous.
