Learning & Development Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for Learning & Development. This is your chance to play a key role in our HR team and to take ownership of initiatives that will drive our culture and business growth. You will partner with the business to build learning solutions to improve capability of our people throughout the employee life cycle.

As the L&D Coordinator, you will champion a learning environment and culture by encouraging dormakaba’s behaviour “We develop ourselves”.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ownership, development, and implementation of learning solutions for Market Australia / New Zealand People Development function
• Utilizing the dormakaba Learning Management System (LMS) and developing eLearning content as part of a blended learning approach
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop learning solutions that support our organisational and people development requirements.
• Provide support to the roll-out of training in relation to: legislative requirements such as Bullying and Harassment, organizational policy, systems and processes through direct facilitation of programs and train the trainer to enable others to effectively deliver and facilitate programs.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of all learning programs to ensure that funtion adds value to the organisation.
• Ensuring local learning initiatives are aligned with and support the implementation of global learning offerings and solutions.
• Act as local champion for the Perform & Grow cycle (regular performance review/development planning system).
• Act as local champion of the dormakaba Dialogue program (regular employee engagement survey).

With demonstrated experience in a similar role, you will be across best practice processes, tools, platforms, content, and approaches and believe in leading by example.

Outstanding communication is a must as well as the ability to influence and lead through change, implementing, analysing and measuring results for continuous improvement. We are looking for someone with experience in people development and someone who enjoys being across everything – from designing and facilitating learning solutions, driving perform management and employee engagement, etc.

Experience with e-learning platforms will be distinct benefit, as will be your experience in sourcing and managing external training providers.
