We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning & Purchasing Coordinator to join our diverse Planning and Purchasing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing administrative support, ensuring smooth order processing, managing vendor communications, and assisting with various tasks related to procurement and supply chain management.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support to the Planning and Purchasing team, assisting with day-to-day tasks as needed.
  • Creation of Purchase Orders (POs) and support the PO confirmation process, including follow-ups and updates within SAP.
  • Manage inbound deliveries, reviewing and reporting scheduled deliveries for the week.
  • Review and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to resolve any discrepancies regarding quantity, price, or delivery date variations.
  • Assist in expediting or de-expediting POs as required to maintain supply chain flow.
  • Perform monthly reviews and reporting on supplier performance, specifically focusing on On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the Planning and Purchasing team.
  • Participate in stock take activities as needed to ensure accurate inventory management.

 

YOUR SKILLS

 

  • Exposure to SAP
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
  • A team player with the ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
