Due to an internal move, we have an opportunity to take the reins as our State Service Manager for Victoria!

 

In this crucial role, you will spearhead the strategic growth and development of our service business, playing a key part in driving our continued success as the leading provider of aftermarket services for Premium Access solutions. This is your chance to make a significant impact and lead a dynamic team towards achieving our bold, forward-thinking goals.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Lead and manage the State Service Team, fostering a vibrant and high-performance culture that promotes open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators related to financial performance, labour utilisation, customer satisfaction, on-time deliveries, and mean-time to repair.
  • Build strong partnerships between Service and Sales Units to enhance cross-functional collaboration and business outcomes.
  • Oversee business operations including the identification and management of risks, health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and dormakaba’s internal policies.
  • Encourage a constructive relationship with the ETU to address EBA obligations, ensuring a balance between business performance, employee well-being, and career development.
  • Actively identify new business opportunities, aligning with the State’s growth agenda and executing a comprehensive business plan.

 

Business Results & KPIs:

 

  • Manage all financial and operational KPIs for the State Service unit, including sales, profit, cash flow, and customer retention.
  • Develop and implement operational KPIs related to labour utilisation, on-time deliveries, and mean-time to repair.
  • Ensure Service remains a core business growth driver, driving results through dedicated service performance, customer satisfaction, and increasing equipment under maintenance.
  • Continuously improve service operations and administration to ensure alignment with global standards and strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of leadership, managerial, and strategic expertise, with proven success in service or logistics management and driving business growth in competitive environments.

You should have a solid track record in developing and executing service strategies, alongside deep financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and forecasting. Your ability to lead high-performing teams, engage effectively with stakeholders, and manage complex projects will be key to success.

 

A focus on health, safety, and environmental standards, combined with excellent negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, will help you thrive in this role.
