Position Overview

 

 

 

 

 

The Head of IT Change and Communication Management is responsible for driving AI adoption, IT strategy transformation, stakeholder engagement, and behavioral change across the IT organization and business functions.

 

This role ensures that IT initiatives, transformation programs, and services are effectively communicated, understood, embraced, and adopted, maximizing business value while minimizing resistance to change. The role acts as a key enabler of successful digital transformation by embedding change management and communication best practices across the organization.



What you will do

 

 

Communication Strategy & Execution

  • Own and drive the IT communication strategy aligned with business priorities.
  • Translate complex IT and AI topics into clear, compelling messages for different audiences.
  • Lead executive communications, including CDIO messaging, organization-wide campaigns, and stakeholder-specific communication plans.

 

IT Change & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead change management for major IT initiatives, including AI adoption, digital transformation, platform rollouts, and operating model changes.
  • Define and implement change frameworks, methodologies, and governance.
  • Drive business readiness, adoption, and stakeholder engagement across regions and functions.

 

Governance & Integration

  • Integrate change management into AI Board activities, project and portfolio governance (e.g., SPM), and the IT service lifecycle.
  • Partner with HR, Communications, and Transformation Offices to ensure alignment and successful execution.

 

Adoption & Value Realization

  • Define and track adoption KPIs, including usage, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Ensure IT initiatives deliver measurable business value.
  • Identify adoption barriers and implement targeted interventions to increase engagement and effectiveness.

 

Organizational Change Capability

  • Build organizational change capabilities and foster a culture of transformation.
  • Coach IT leaders and project teams on AI adoption, change leadership, and communication best practices.
  • Develop standards, playbooks, and toolkits to support successful change initiatives.

 

 

 

What we require

 

 

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Change Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT communications, organizational change management, transformation, or organizational development.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting AI adoption and AI-related change initiatives.
  • Proven success leading large-scale digital and IT transformation programs.
  • Experience creating content with AI tools, developing presentations in PowerPoint with Microsoft Copilot, and managing Viva Engage.
  • Strong storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives.
  • Understanding of IT operating models, Agile and product organizations; ServiceNow knowledge is an advantage.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience measuring adoption, engagement, and business value realization.
  • Prosci Change Management, CSM, SAFe, or similar certifications are considered a plus.
