POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a customer centric Inside Sales Representative to join our expansive national Sales team and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment receiving emailed purchase orders, entering them into our systems with accuracy, taking inbound Customer Service calls about our products, and provide technical support to our customers. This role will be responsible for supporting new business development for our Mesker business while developing new customer relationships, managing inbound orders requests, etc.

 

Important:  Our sales and service team members are required to make in-person customer visits due to the nature of their work.  For our protection and the protection of our customers, we adhere to strict COVID safety protocols (masking, frequent hand sanitizer use, temperature checks, etc. per local guidelines and customer requirements).

 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Provides excellent customer service and technical support to customers
  • Shares quotes with customer using customer specific pricing
  • Receives, processes, and enters customer purchase orders.
  • Ensures accuracy of orders and meets order entry goals
  • Coordinates hollow metal and wood orders
  • Complies related production information for all brands and assembles production folders
  • Enters purchases orders involved special order products and follows the order from entry to on time delivery
  • Assists with order detailing and sends order acknowledgments
  • Partners with our various brands and facilities to coordinate orders
  • Troubleshoots and investigates errors
  • Enters replacement orders and sends in credit requests
  • Represents and exemplifies dormakaba’s core values and business principles

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or B.S. in Sales, Business, Marketing, or similar field preferred
  • Preferred 2-3 years of inside or outside sales or account management experience
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel 
  • Knowledge of hollow metal doors, frames, and wood doors
