POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking an Associate Vice President (AVP) of Corporate Communications based in Indianapolis, IN. The AVP, Corporate Communications reports directly to the VP, Marketing. This role is responsible for optimizing employee engagement and maximize the impact of corporate communications and Public Relations efforts.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $130,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and deploy corporate engagement and communications strategies, methods, and programs.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and stakeholders to coordinate key communications at the local and regional levels.
- Support change management initiatives through multiple communication channels by delivering the right messages via the most effective delivery method.
- Lead executive communications and presentations for Town Halls, live streams, speaking engagements, and other strategic events.
- Author key internal communications on behalf of leadership that are concise, clear, and reflect consistent messaging points.
- Manage external public relations and crisis management, strategy, and execution for Region North America in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Responsible for coordinating dormakaba media training for spokespeople ahead of major trade shows and events.
- Manage and oversee company award submissions.
- Identify and coordinate media interviews with appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or another related field
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications and public relations
