CNC Operator (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift)

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift CNC Operators to join our Operations team in Indianapolis, IN! This position is responsible for setting up machines, reading blueprints as needed.

**We're offering a $2000 SIGN ON BONUS for this role!!**

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Performs and operates simple to complex setups on one or several machines in assigned area
• Performs inspections on parts according to the appropriate QAIP procedure
• Activates and executes basic programming for parts from blueprints and adjusts existing programs
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks on machines per manufacturer’s required scheduled routine checklist
• Creates an entire program for parts from stored methods
• Evaluates and troubleshoots machine and tooling problems
• Interprets and makes inquiries concerning the physical sequencing routing, bills of materials, and part activity

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic CNC/Robotics set up skills are required
• 2 years’ experience in drilling, reaming, milling, and threading
• 5 years’ experience in blueprint reading
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as; micrometers, calibers, height gauges, rulers, and tape measures
