<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">POSITION OVERVIEW/DUTIES:

This position is responsible for maintaining required parts to specifications set forth by customer requirements. This encompasses the set up of the machines in required areas as well as interpreting from blueprints adjusting required to existing programs. This requires a high degree of competence and self-sufficiency. Must be self-motivated and be the type of person that looks for additional work and searches for ways to increase production for the company.


Specific responsibilities include:



This position will be responsible for the inspection, packaging finished product, and the processing of shipping packages to the customers.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Perform and operate simple to complex setups on one or several machines in assigned area
  • Perform inspections on parts according to the appropriate QAIP procedure
  • Activating and executing basic programming for parts from blueprints and adjusts existing programs
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machines per manufacturer’s required scheduled routine checklist
  • Create an entire program for a part from stored methods in a timely manner
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot as necessary machine and tooling problems
  • Interpret and make inquiries concerning the physical sequencing routing, Bills of Materials, and part activity
  • Performs duties and responsibilities as described in the quality system

  • Possesses good communications skills, both oral and written
  • Understands the applications of SPC and similar quality control concepts
  • Self-motivated person, able to work independently
  • Ability to be a quality conscious individual capable of achieving quality requirements
  • Must possess the ability to interpret CNC languages and codes



<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic CNC/Robotics set up skills are required
  • 2 years’ experience in drilling, reaming, milling, and threading
  • 5 years’ experience in blueprint reading
  • Ability to use measuring equipment such as lathes and vertical mills, with 5 years’ experience.
