Service Controller

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Service Controller based in Indianapolis, IN. The Service Controller is responsible for contributing to the North America Finance team, partnering with branch managers and the supply chain team to support the service operations by providing meaningful performance insights and drive the financial management processes.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $120,000 - $145,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) plus Short Term Incentive (STI) This position includes a competitive benefits package. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Execute monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of all financial results
• Deliver detailed recurring analysis of the income statements and balance sheets, including meaningful variance explanations, while partnering with the service branch network to support driver-based variance analysis
• Perform annual budget, standard cost updates and planning processes ensuring integrity of the budgeting and forecasting of Cost of Goods Sold
• Establish a service performance statement methodology enabling driver based variance analysis and profitable growth
• Work with the Service organization to develop realistic financial plans aligned to operational goals and integrate those into the 12-month rolling forecast cadence

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience as a Controller or in similar leadership role within Accounting and Finance
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, hands-on experience in regular transactions of HFM and SAP (and/or similar ERP system)
• Working knowledge within Business Intelligence (BI) reporting
• Working knowledge in manufacturing environment with standard based accounting system
