POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba has an exciting opportunity for a Global Lead New Process Innovations (NPI) and Change Management. This is a hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN. The Global Lead NPI and Change Management reports directly to the VP of Quality, EHS, and Change Management, and works closely with the Plant Operations and Procurement teams. This position is responsible for the governance and enablement of successful implementations of new production launches, major operational changes such as relocations and consolidations, and the overall gate review process. The Global Lead NPI and Change Management will play a vital role in driving the transformation of our change control processes at dormakaba.

 

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $120,500 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide governance and oversight to all NPI and operational projects through the stage gate review to ensure effective compliance, tracking to planned budget performance, and completeness of project team to required documentation per the Adaptive Innovation Methodology (AIM) process
  • Facilitate the organization and transparency of project status to steering committee as requested and support the business in the transformation of our stage gate process 
  • Effectively coordinate cross-functional collaboration between finance, manufacturing strategy, product development, procurement, IT, and the market partners to ensure streamlined deployment of projects
  • Key author, owner, and approver of all NPI/stage gate process documentation. Ensuring that the most recent revisions are in use at all times and monitoring adherence to this by project managers
  • Support the monitoring, reporting and performance to plan of projects in collaboration with the project managers
  • Set up sustaining governance and validation of product development programs for product certification testing and validation of certification status
  • Key contributor to the global QHSE team on global process development, best practice and process enablement  

 

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 4+ years of experience in similar roles of engineering, quality, or dynamic project management

  • Certified Project Manager
  • Experience in a complex and high-demand manufacturing environment
  • Experience with state-of-the-art change control and new product introduction
