POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring products produced in our plant meets or exceeds expectations, supports our Product Development design team, and acts as a connection between Product Development and Operations.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $71,829- $116,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Leads and mentors other MFG Engineers within the department on tools, skills, and tasks
- Leads efforts to conduct studies and execute deliverables on Product Development projects to ensure material handling and work stream optimization are completed
- Takea ownership of MFG BOMs and routings, and ensure proper alignment with operations in support of Product Development
- Leads efforts to plan and create assembly lines, routing, work-instructions etc. for new products being launched into operations
- Creates designs for components/fixtures/equipment using CAD (CREO) and Stored in Windchill
- Participates in DFMEA and root cause analysis reviews as needed by Product Development
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following areas:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering/Technologies
- Mechanical Engineering Technologies
- Mechatronics Engineering Technologies
- Minimum 8 years work experience in engineering

- Master’s degree in a related field is a plus
