POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Operations Manager based in Indianapolis, IN plant. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

 

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $100,000 to $140,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production efficiency and meet output targets
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
  • Train and develop supervisors and staff to build a high-performing, motivated team
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by overseeing accurate and timely order processing
  • Manage the production budget, controlling costs while meeting financial objectives

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • 5+ years of experience in managing manufacturing operations
  • A four-year technical degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership skills with both disciplinary and functional responsibilities
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to implement Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives
