Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a Plant Controller based in Indianapolis, IN. The Plant Controller is responsible for leveraging direct and indirect resources to develop, implement, and execute financial objectives in alignment within the S4G (Shape for Growth) strategy and contributing to maximizing the profitability of the plant.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $150,000 - $170,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.
What you will do
- Serve as a strategic business partner for Plant Management, regional executives, and global finance teams to ensure the translation of strategic goals into operational plans for plant efficiency improvement
- Execute monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of all financial results
- Provide detailed recurring analysis of income statement and balance sheet and meaningful variance explanations business partnering with Operations Team covering driver base variance analysis
- Perform annual budget, standard cost updates and planning processes ensuring integrity of the budgeting and forecasting of Cost of Goods Sold
- Work with the operations team to develop realistic financial plans aligned to operational goals and integrate those into the 12-month rolling forecast cadence
What we require
- 7+ years of experience in similar leadership role within Accounting and Finance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline
- Experience with large scale manufacturing operation and improving plant performance
- Experience with SAP and HFM/OneStream
- Knowledge of GAAP and related applications and Product Costing
- Experience in ERP implementation
