POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba seeks a skilled and experienced Plant Controller to take financial responsibility for its showcase US manufacturing facility, based in Indianapolis. This position is a high focus role within this growing multi-national business and offers great career potential for the right candidate.
Partnering with the VP Indianapolis Operations, the Controller is responsible for leveraging direct and indirect resources to develop, implement, and execute financial objectives and contributing to maximizing the profitability of the plant.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $145,000 - $155,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will have full financial statement responsibility and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to safeguard the assets of the company.
- Coach and mentor 3 direct reports, helping them to perform to the best of their capabilities.
- Coordinate activities of the monthly accounting close to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of all financial results for the organization for Indianapolis Plant.
- Variance analysis on material deviations versus forecast, including drives to volume, mix, and rate.
- Develop and share analytical insights to revenue performance, gross margins, and pricing at lowest level of granularity.
- Meet monthly with Finance, Commercial and Operational leadership to discuss financial performance and help to identify solutions to help Team meet its objectives.
- Support monthly Management Performance Review (MPR) including preparation of slides and communication of results related to revenues, gross margin, and EBITDA.
- Develop and implement monthly rolling 12-month forecasts of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for commercial and operational entities within the portfolio.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reviews to regional Finance
- Provide financial oversight on all CAPEX investments within the Indianapolis plant.
- Maintenance and review of HFM data inputs to ensure accurate reporting.
- Lead and prepare all requirements to support annual external audit of the company’s financial records, ensuring we are compliant with both US GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER.
- Assist in special projects as needed.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in similar leadership role within Accounting and Finance
- Experience in a fast-paced, complex, and collaborative environment
- SAP experience
- Must be able to manually manipulate office equipment, including computer, copier, etc.
- Must be able to verbally communicate via telephone.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to travel using public transportation.

- S4HANA implementation experience
- Experience working with shared services and matrix organizations.
