Senior Accountant

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Accountant based in Indianapolis, AccouUSA. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager Accounting Lead and work closely with Shared Services leaders and other Senior leadership. The Senior Accountant is responsible for bank reconciliation process, supports accounting close, drives productivity and delivers stated financial objectives.  

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Reconcile shared bank accounts (SAP S8), ensuring all variances are cleared in a timely manner. 
• Work with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and site teams to ensure all transactions are properly recorded. 
• Provide monthly reconciliation report of bank accounts for month end with detailed support. 
• Manage Capex spending based on approved budget and coordinate capitalization with multiple sites. 
• Manage fixed assets (additions, transfers, disposals, etc.) in SAP S8 
• Calculate monthly depreciation for each site. 
• Coordinate meetings with sites to ensure CAPEX projects are on target/within budget 
• Participate and complete required ad hoc analyses 
• Participate in the accounting month/year end close as needed. 
• Support accounting processes review and improvement. 
• Participate in the Internal and External Audit
• Participate in the implementation of SAP S8 in other sites

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• BS in Finance, Accounting, or similar analytical discipline 
• 3 + years of relevant work experience 
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Working knowledge in manufacturing environment with standard based accounting system 
• Working knowledge within Business Intelligence (BI) reporting 
• Ability to work cross-functionally and across business boundaries to solve issues and drive tasks and projects to completion 
• Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management
• Highly proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
