Service Technician II- Chattanooga

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a full-time Service Technician to fill a remote position based in the Chattanooga, TN area. The Service Technician is responsible for Installing dormakaba door hardware & access control systems in commercial buildings, ensuring the safety and security of vital structures.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $20/hr - $40/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $3,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Carry out corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
• Service customer equipment to the customers’ ongoing satisfaction and setting minimum performance standards
• Project a customer service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and communication with all customers
• Communicates with Sales and Service management about customer concerns and sales opportunities

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Willingness to travel
• Valid current driver’s license
• Mechanical or Electrical knowledge
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Electrical/low voltage certification
• Proficient in basic computer skills

• Ability to lift and carry at least 60 pounds; 35 pounds over the shoulder. Frequent standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing and working overhead

• Ability to work in a construction/building environment.
