Dormakaba is seeking a National Service Manager to join our Sales team in Lake Bluff, IL for the Midwest. This position is responsible for the overall sales and profitability performance in their region. This role will help develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets. We are looking for a strong leader who will bring enthusiasm and expertise to their team!




  • Develops business strategies and implement plans to grow overall sales revenue, gross profit, and market share within the region
  • Drives sales and gross profit performance of direct reports to ensure development of territory and ultimately an increase in market share and ENS/SVC profitability
  • Day to day management and direction of direct report sales staff
  • Works closely with sales staff by attending customer meetings with them on site and via phone. This provides an opportunity to build a stronger relationship with the customer and to evaluate and coach the salesperson on their techniques and recommend areas for improvement
  • Recruits, hires, trains, and develops sales personnel in assigned region
  • Ensures that teamwork and collaboration is happening amongst team members.
  • Conducts regular sales meetings and inform the sales team of new developments in product and policies and any special one-off promotions or programs
  • Maintains current technical product-related knowledge and stay abreast of industry/territory knowledge and trends. Adapt to change in the marketplace 
  • Utilizes Salesforce as outlined by VP of Sales as a means of tracking and measuring individual and team sales activities and progress
  • Establishes periodic goals and objectives for sales personnel, understand how they will be measured, and work towards achieving these agreed upon results within the stated time
  • Prepares sales performance reports and other feedback in required timeframes as requested by sales leadership





  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Sales and Marketing preferred
  • 8-10 years sales experience
  • 5+ years sales management experience preferred
  • Travel up to 50%+
