Technical Support Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Technical Support Representative based in Las Vegas. The Technical Support Representative will provide technical support to dormakaba’s customers for their hotel door lock hardware and software by performing a diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. This person is also responsible for issuing authorization for product returns and ensure customer calls and emails are handled in a timely manner.

*** This position will be based remotely in the Las Vegas area.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $21/hr - $24/hr (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Answer inbound phone calls and response to customer emails
• Troubleshoot customer issues related to hardware and software by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms
• Resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Identify and escalate priority issues
• Accurately enter customer queries into company database

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• College degree in electronics, computer science or relevant years of experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service and technical support, in a call center

WHAT WE PREFER

• Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish is an asset.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (overtime offered).
