In the line of the in Sofia located Line Manager Test Verification & Validation, you will be responsible for test engineering in close collaboration with the dormakaba access control solutions test facilities in Germany, Switzerland and Spain.

Your responsibilities are including requirement analysis, test case creation/maintenance, test automation development and test execution manually/automated for dormakaba access control solutions on unit, component/product or solution level.

Key Responsibilities

Acting in a cross-matrix organization you will take over test responsibility on component, product and solutions level in close collaboration with the dormakaba test facilities in Germany, Switzerland and Spain
Creation and maintenance of functional and non-functional test cases, build on given use case scenarios and defined requirements
Supporting/Consulting of Product Owner creating testable user stories
System under test analysis to decide on optimal testing strategies and test automation solutions
Maintenance and enhancement of test automation solutions (framework development, test case automation)
Setup and maintenance of complex test environments consisting of multiple hardware and software components.
Execution and reporting of automated test cases
- On unit/component level as part of state-of-the-art CI/CD workflows in close collaboration with development teams
- On access control solution level as part interdisciplinary project teams focused on feature and user story acceptance testing
Documentation of test results and analysis of results deviations

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in informatic, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar discipline. Master’s degree is a nice to have
4+ years of experience in test automation development (UI and/or API test automation) with tools like SoapUI, JMeter, Postman, Ranorex, Cypress, Selenium, Appium or similar.
Ideally you have experience with programming or script languages (such as C#, Java, Java Script, C++, Python) and CI/CD integration (such as Jenkins, GIT)
Ideally you have already experience in electrical hardware engineering or IT system infrastructure engineering
Experienced in agile development approaches such as SCRUM, KANBAN, ideally experience in scaled agile frameworks
Excellent understanding of software development processes
Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
Be proactive, autonomous and suggest innovative ideas
flexible for traveling
