Position overview
Own the planning, management and delivery of trade fairs, customer and partner events, internal events, webinars and market activations. Ensure each event meets its objectives, budget, timeline, brand standards and stakeholder expectations while delivering measurable commercial and engagement value.
What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of trade fairs, customer events, partner events, internal events, webinars and local market activations, from initial brief through on-site execution and post-event evaluation.
- Translate event objectives into clear plans, timelines, budgets and delivery schedules. Manage venue requirements, logistics, registration, event materials, communications, approvals and contingency planning.
- Partner with marketing business partners, sales, product marketing, campaign, content, creative, digital, procurement, finance and local market stakeholders to define objectives, align responsibilities and deliver a consistent attendee experience.
- Develop event concepts and detailed project plans, including event briefs, production schedules, exhibitor requirements, briefing packs, checklists, run-of-show documents, attendee materials and post-event reports.
- Manage event agencies, suppliers and venues; negotiate and coordinate services where applicable; oversee purchase requests, contracts, cost tracking and invoice validation; and ensure compliance with procurement policies and brand standards.
- Own event readiness and delivery, proactively manage risks, changes, dependencies and on-site issues, and make timely decisions to keep events on track before, during and after execution.
- Define and review event success measures, analyse attendance and feedback, coordinate lead handover where relevant, report outcomes against objectives and budgets, and turn lessons learned into improvements for future events.
What we require
- Several years of relevant experience in event management, trade fairs, customer or partner events, marketing activations or event agency work in a corporate, agency or comparable environment, including responsibility for planning and delivering events end to end.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality, Project Management or a related field preferred. Relevant event, project management or marketing certification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience managing event plans, logistics, venues, agencies and suppliers, budgets, timelines and stakeholder expectations, including coordination during live events.
- Good understanding of corporate marketing events, customer and partner activations, webinars, registration processes, attendee communications and lead handover.
- Ability to develop and manage event budgets, track costs, coordinate purchasing and approvals, manage suppliers and resolve operational issues while balancing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience creating event briefs, production schedules, run-of-show documents, briefing packs, attendee materials, post-event reports and actionable lessons learned.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to event readiness, supplier documentation, brand compliance, registration data, materials accuracy, risk management and follow-up.
- Highly organised project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and workstreams simultaneously, make sound decisions under pressure and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent business English required. Additional market languages are an advantage depending on scope.
