We’re looking for a Senior Software developer (iOS) to take a senior role in shaping our software development journey and driving your team’s success. As a key contributor, you’ll write exceptional code while setting the standard for excellence within the entire development team. Your expertise in architecture and technical decision-making will ensure high-quality code reviews and a solid foundation for strategic product decisions.

Professional experience

+5 years as SW developer in mobile environments with iOS

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior iOS Developer with a proven track record of building innovative apps and SDKs that seamlessly integrate with IoT, cloud services, and smart device communication. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of iOS development and the ability to craft intuitive, high-performance apps that connect users to the future of technology. You bring expertise in creating scalable, reliable SDKs, as well as experience in working with IoT solutions and cloud-based infrastructure. You thrive in an environment where cutting-edge technology and seamless connectivity are at the heart of what you create, driving forward-thinking solutions for a connected world.

Professional skills

• Keep up to date with relevant technology areas.
• You have a desire to craft beautiful, usable interfaces across all different devices running iOS
• You are empathetic towards the user experience and thoughtful about what we can do to make it better
• You have excellent communication skills and are good at giving and receiving feedback
• You have experience working iteratively and maintaining live products
• You have experience mentoring other engineers in Swift and Objective-C
• You work with an eye toward performance and systemic solutions
• You have a proven track record of building reliable, performant, scalable and yet understandable solutions
• You write tests to ensure delivery of high-quality software
• You create and maintain CI/CD
• Collaborate with the product, design, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Key Responsibilities and tasks

• Focus on app development in iOS with complex apps
• Coding of new solutions and life cycle management of existing ones.
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
• Create building and testing pipelines for the mobile apps.
• Orchestrate app deployment and release to Apple Store.
• Cooperate with other mobile development activities within dormakaba group

Education

University degree or equivalent on Technical College or relevant related experience.
