Service Technician - Industrial

The role of an Industrial Door Technician will mainly involve Preventative Maintenance, Breakdown repairs, and some major works to Industrial Door Systems which includes gates, and roller shutter products.
Experience in this industry is desirable, however we can offer training and support to candidates with transferable skills. This may include experience in trades such as auto electrical, electrician, fabrication, maintenance fitter or, a mechanic.
We offer a 24/7 service to our customers and there is an option be on our after-hours roster on a rotational basis.
A fully maintained and stocked vehicle, mobile phone, iPad and uniforms are supplied to assist you in undertaking your new role.
YOUR SKILLS
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Product knowledge and diagnostic capabilities.
- Knowledge of electrical safety principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Other desirable qualifications which will enhance your application, include:
- Industry White Card
- Disconnect / Reconnect restricted electrical licence (S permit).
