Architectural Services Representative - Minnesota - Remote

POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a customer focused Architectural Sales Representative to join our Sales team in Minneapolis, MN. This position is responsible for promoting dormakaba products, expanding our market share and brand recognition while working with architects, specifiers, and consultants as a trusted resource partner.
**This position is a Remote role**
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Develops new architectural customers by marketing company product lines and offering specification writing service to the architectural community
- Routinely updates architectural firm libraries with the latest dormakaba catalogs and marketing material
- Develops annual strategies, tactics, and contingency plans, in conjunction with the Distribution Development Manager and End User Consultant to increase specific market share
- Provides project specifications covering the spectrum of dormakaba products and assemblies (architectural hardware, hollow metal doors & frames, automatic swing, sliding, and revolving doors, fixed and operable interior glass assemblies and access control products)
- Ensures that all specifications meet relevant national building codes
- Prepares supporting documentation for presentation to the architect regarding specification
- Provides analysis on product comparisons and application assistance
- Provides electronic access control application assistance and coordination
- Conducts reviews of shop drawings of distributor submittals utilizing Bluebeam software program
- Conducts AIA registered educational programs (“lunch & learn”) to architectural firms and association events
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree; technical/vocational school degree or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in the door and hardware industry
- 1+ years architectural sales experience
- Member Construction Specification Institute (CSI)

- Willingness to travel 50%+
