Job Description
Under the supervision of the Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing technical support to production, analyzing production problems, analyzing customer feedback and developing tests and testing equipment for electronic circuits. You will also prepare and analyze quality reports (KPI, RMA and NCR on internal and external returns) in order to suggest and implement quality and efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production defects to identify root causes
- Investigate the returns of defective products (KIM, SAFLOCK and KEYSCAN) from internal and external customers establish corrective plans and work with engineering to find the root causes
- Make sure that the testing equipment is available and adequate for analyzing the circuits during production and upon returns from the assembly line and customers. Maintain electronic/mechanical drawings, etc.
- Design templates for validating failures caused by certain bugs
- Work with the manufacturing engineering department to produce clear work instructions
- Before production launch, work with the engineering department to introduce new products for electronic functionality and firmware approval by following the pilot process
- Create monthly KPI, RMA and NCR reports, update the dashboard and the reliability %.
- Investigate production problems concerning electronic parts and implement corrective actions
- Design and build jigs for production lines
- Build current testers for installers
- Build CSMUE (Saflok site survey)
- Any other related duties.
