POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a customer focused Office Manager to ensure the completion of the region’s day-to-day administrative tasks.  This position will be responsible for assisting the company and regional management in communicating and enforcing policies and improving the efficiency of administrative procedures. They will assist with the creation and execution of administrative and managerial best practices.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Provides guidance to the Regional Sales Manager and his or her direct reports, manage the regional office staff, and provide indirect leadership to the techs and other hourly employees
  • Conducts business in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as with dormakaba policies
  • Ensures a positive customer experience by fostering efficient, courteous, and professional interactions between office staff and customers
  • Maintains knowledge of customer requirements and agreements
  • Provides operational support and assist with the preparation of documents and communications
  • Oversees processing of POs, invoices, CODs, billing, vendor & customer setups, etc
  • Manages efficient administrative support services in each of the region’s branches
  • Provides guidance to employees within the region, and actively participate in “community” of Office Managers throughout the Service regional network
  • Assists employees with administrative and HR questions (payroll, updating personal information,etc), and direct them to the correct point of contact as
  • Provides guidance to Regional Service Manager based on company policies and procedures

 

REQUIREMENTS

  •  5-8 years experience in an Office Administration role, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong software skills including MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience in a field service environment preferred
  • Ability to address multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with all facets of billing and invoicing preferred
