Position Overview
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Supply Chain Officer provides administrative and operational support to the Supply Chain team to ensure the timely procurement of goods and services. Based in Pinkenba, this role supports a national operation and plays a key part in maintaining accurate records, coordinating suppliers and keeping inventory moving.
What you will do
- Process purchase orders accurately and coordinate supplier deliveries, shortages and updates
- Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier and inventory records across internal systems
- Liaise with Warehouse, Operations, Finance and Sales teams to resolve issues and provide updates
- Support day-to-day supply chain administration activities in a fast-paced operational environment
What we require
- Strong administration and coordination experience with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
What we prefer
- Experience within purchasing, procurement, supply chain or operational support environments
- Exposure to warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution operations
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems such as Sage or Ironbark
- Understanding of purchasing administration and inventory coordination processes
