POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking Warehouse Coordinator to join our Service team. This position is responsible for facilitating inventory management at our Portland, OR site.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Loads and unloads of deliveries and shipments
- Develops a close working relationship with the technicians, dispatchers, administrative support, and corporate functions
- Works closely with administrative teams and technicians to ensure that all necessary stock transfers required from the technicians are completed efficiently and accurately
- Ensures that all compliance, process reporting, and safety procedures are followed
- Ensures that all transactions (receipts, transfers, shipments) are performed accurately and timely
- Discusses staged materials and needed parts with dispatchers and managers.
- Runs weekly reports on parts usage by tech/van and replenish on a minimum weekly basis
- Ensures that safety procedures and processes are understood and followed
- Conducts a monthly safety walk of the warehouse
- Works closely with dispatchers to ensure that jobs are aligned with actual availability of parts
- Performs inventory counts and reconciliations
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Provides quotes and order parts for stock parts
REQUIREMENTS
- A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position
- Must be able to efficiently use computers and inventory management systems
