A job that matters: your tasks

 

Drive strategic transformation initiatives to results, in alignment with the organization’s goals, and actively contribute with specific project management competences to secure operational excellence, implementation effectiveness and transformation’s success.

Build strong relationships with all stakeholders at all levels (particularly Steering Committees, Project Owners, Senior Managers, Work Councils…) by fostering collaboration and providing consistent communication and relevant influence within area of accountability.

Active Project Management for initiatives requiring specific competences of transformational leadership and strategic project management.

Lead Transformation Management Office (TMO) team, oversee planning and execution of transformative projects, working closely with Strategy Department and Project Management Offices (PMOs) to define objectives, secure day to day implementation and reporting, enhance quality standards and risk mitigation, drive change management and stakeholder engagement.

 

Your area of responsibilities include:

  • Engage in strategic initiatives, in close alignment with the Strategy/M&A Department.
  • Orchestrate effectively organization-wide transformation initiatives by coordinating program workstreams’ decision drum-beat, ensuring a holistic view on the transformation plan, by maintaining agile governance, consistent project planning and accuracy of reporting and activity tracking.
  • Active support (including sanity checks, ambition challenging, best practices, roadblocks addressing…) to all transformation initiatives, from idea/concept generation, to implementation, KPIs setting and results’ reporting, according to CTO’s guidelines and transformation roadmap.
  • Manage core initiatives in collaboration with Project Management Offices (PMOs), leading independently the implementation of dedicated transformation streams.
  • Monitor resource allocation on transformation streams, checking availability and optimal use of budgets, personnel, and technology assets.
  • Validate, confirm and consolidate financial and non-financial KPIs and metrics for short- and long-term impact.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement of organization performances, applying comprehensive knowledge of organizational transformation and project management to uncover synergies, identify cross-project dependencies and evaluate associated risks, requirements and opportunities.
  • Leadership on TMO team members, ensuring their effective support, planning and management of core transformation initiatives.

 

An experience that matters: your skills

  • Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of experience in international program management, leading a line organization and managing a portfolio of transformation projects.
  • A background in leading consulting companies would be a plus.
  • Full Professional Proficiency in German and English.
  • The job requires a presence in Ruemlang HQ (approx. 50%) and availability for travelling (approx. 30%).
