We are currently expanding our global Total Rewards team and are looking for an experienced and committed individual to join us. As the Lead Executive Compensation you will be responsible for driving the effectiveness of our rewards programs by developing and managing strategies to align with business goals and market trends. You will be influencing our Global Total Rewards Strategy, ensuring programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our values with a focus on Germany and other European countries
Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll collaborate across regions, support key HR initiatives, and lead or contribute to exciting global and regional rewards projects.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
- Oversee and further develop equity based incentive programs (LTI/RSU), Special Awards, and Recognition initiatives. Ensure these programs are aligned with business requirements, have clear, effective communication, feature equitable grant processes, and are designed compliantly.
- Prepare and support annual compensation reporting and disclosures in compliance with legal, shareholder, and internal requirements. Support the VP of Total Rewards with Compensation Committee submissions. Oversee compensation management for the Board and the e Executive Committe.
- Continuously analyze compensation programs to ensure effectiveness, equity, and market competitiveness across the assigned geography.
- Maintain oversight and drive quality standards in all Executive compensation processes in collaboration with HR Systems & Services and HR Business Partners (local and global).
- Provide input and consulting support for job evaluations, compensation offers, and packages for new hires and existing employees — ensuring alignment with legal and internal equity standards for the assigned geography
- Lead or contribute to global and regional rewards projects; provide expert advisory support for selected local initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall Total Rewards strategy.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in compensation & benefits, ideally in a multinational or regional corporate setting.
- Solid experience managing equity based incentive programs (LTI/RSU) and executive compensation structures.
- Proven track record in handling compensation reporting and governance (e.g. for executive management or board-level roles).
- Deep understanding of compensation principles, pay equity, and compliance with international and local regulations.
- Experience leading or participating in large-scale or cross-functional rewards projects.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with a good understanding of key business and HR metrics.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of IT and systems literacy; affinity for tools and process development.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are a plus.
