Want to see the country?  Service Technician’s at dormakaba do! dormakaba is seeking a full-time, Service Technician for a remote role that will be based in North Carolina. Our service Technicians install door hardware and access control systems keeping our most important buildings safe and secure. The ideal person for this role will have a passion for delighting customers beyond basic expectations, to create strong customer relationships.


The pay for this role will range from $20 an hour for entry-level to $30+ for more experience technicians. (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)


$2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)



  • Install dormakaba hardware & access control systems in commercial buildings
  • Project a strong customer service image through professional presentation and communication with all customers
  • Communicate with Sales and Service management about customer concerns and sales opportunities



  • Valid current driver’s license
  • Mechanical or electrical knowledge
  • Must be able to climb a ladder
  • Ability to lift objects up to 60 lbs.
  • Extensive overnight travel



  • Electrical/low voltage certification and/or door hardware and/or access control experience
