CNC Machinist

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a first shift (6AM – 2:30PM) CNC Machinist based in Reamstown, PA. The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating the Haas CNC producing parts supporting IGS, DHW and ENS. Secondary responsibility includes supporting multiple aspects the Interior Glass department including and not limited to IGS GP2 Assembly and IGS Fabrication.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $25/hr. - $32/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate CNC machines, metal cutting equipment, saws, drill presses, bending, and punching machines to process material and prepare for assembly operations
• Provide back up support to the production cells (GP2, header, rail, and MUTO) up to and including operating drill presses, saws, small presses, hand tools and packaging equipment, performs machining, assembly and packing operations, on an as needed basis
• Diligently follow shop drawings, written instructions, standard operating procedures, quality control guidelines during manufacturing operations, so that products meet quality requirement
• Inspect and prepare material prior to and after processing them
• Perform minor tool changes and minor machine set-ups
• Operate material handling equipment, move parts safely

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school diploma and/or GED Certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings.
• Basic CNC/Robotics set up skills; ability to interpret CNC languages
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
• Experience with various hand tools (manual and powered)
• Mechanical abilities
