Manufacturing Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer based in Reamstown, PA. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for implementing capital improvement projects in accordance with product specifications, quality standards, business growth and expansion. They will implement and manage aggressive timelines utilizing both internal and external resources methods and controls and coordinate interdepartmental communication, expectations to critical stakeholders.

SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $90,000 - $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage execution of effective manufacturing projects related to product requirements, improvements, machinery deployment, plant modifications and testing manufacturing methods and equipment
• Drive resource planning for current and future projects
• Incorporate engineering specifications into design, process, or techniques
• Create, implement, and monitor key performance indicators and metrics
• Work with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Extensive knowledge and experience developing and implementing LEAN processes
• Experience with SolidWorks, Draftsight, drafting, production cell design
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical drawings. Strong background in GD&T
• Background in CNC machining including machine tool technology, workholding, fixture design, reading/writing G-code and CAM (Computer Aided-Machining) software

WHAT WE PREFER

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or technical discipline
• Industrial or manufacturing engineering
• Extensive experience in project management
• Experience with HAAS CNC and/or FOM CNC Machining Centers 
• Experience with Microsoft Project or relevant project management software
• ESPRIT or CAMWorks software
