Production Team Lead

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a second shift (2:30PM – 11:00PM) Production Team Lead based in Reamstown, PA. The Production Team Lead is responsible for coordinating activities of workers engaged in fabricating and assembling products and materials for storage or shipment.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr plus a 1.00 Shift Differential and mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinate all orders for the ENS department to ensure established lead times are met. Ensure all orders due for the day are accounted for and or sent to shipping
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
• Assist in training and development of new and current team members
• Support the production manager in implementing new programs and initiatives and actively participate in improvement strategies within the department
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school diploma and/or GED certification
• Experience in relevant field or equivalent combination of training and/or experience
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
