Saw Operator

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Saw Operator to join our Operations team in Reamstown, PA! This position is responsible for operating various metal cutting saws and presses to assist in the production operations, from staging or gathering of material through the cutting of the material. The starting rate for this position is $20 per hour.

We're offering $2000 SIGN ON BONUS for this role!! 

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Operating metal cutting saws, drill presses, and punching machines to assist in the material gathering through assembly operations.
• Accurately locating materials in the warehouse and cut them to required lengths.
• Inspecting and preparing material prior to and following the sawing of material.
• Positioning parts per requirements of the unit being assembled or by following shop drawings and quality control requirements.
• Removing small quantities of metal with hand tools to produce a close fit between parts.
• Performing minor tool changes and minor machine set-ups.
• Operating material handling equipment.
• Performing machine preventative maintenance.
• Completing daily report sheets.
• Using PC for sawing related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
