Position Overview

 

We are currently seeking a Regional People Partner WSEE & MEA, who will serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders across a diverse international region, supporting approximately 1,600 employees across the region.

In this role you will work at the intersection of business and human resources, driving people initiatives that support both business strategy and growth, with a particular focus on business transformation, talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, change management, performance management, and labor relations.

This is a highly visible leadership position that combines strategic influence with operational excellence, ensuring qualified, engaged, and cost-effective workforce while fostering a performance culture built on candor, dialogue, and continuous development.

 

What you will do

  • Partner with market leadership teams to drive talent management, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, business transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the HR market organization ensuring an effective HR operating model, strong team cohesion, and seamless collaboration across the HR ecosystem.
  • Provide HR support and expert guidance to managers and employees in global functions in partnership with People Partners, Global Strategic People Advisors, HR Domain teams, and Experience Hubs.
  • Ensure HR administration and people processes are delivered in compliance with local legislation and with a high level of operational excellence.
  • Ensure all entities and employees conduct business in line with applicable laws and regulations, as well as global and local policies and procedures, dormakaba's Code of Conduct, and compliance guidelines.
  • Contribute to the global HR strategy by translating it into local HR activities and cascading global requirements into local market execution.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, employer branding, and employee engagement to strengthen dormakaba's position as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate constructively with employee representatives and unions; manage labor-related litigation and disciplinary processes; support adherence to local employment laws and ethical standards.
  • Identify and elevate talent through strategic hiring, succession planning, leadership appointments, internal mobility, and early career development initiatives.
  • Support business transformation through workforce planning, performance management, organizational design, and change management programs.
  • Build trusted partnerships with business leaders and HR teams across the region through regular engagement and travel.

 

What we require

  • 15+ years of experience in HR management positions within an international environment.
  • Strong operational and strategic HR expertise, with the ability to translate business objectives into effective people strategies.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders in complex, matrix organizations.
  • Experience in talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation and drive business change through people initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience operating in international environments, with a practical understanding of diverse cultural contexts, employment practices, and legal frameworks across multiple countries.
  • Business fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
