Job Summary
The Ironmongery Scheduler is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing door hardware ironmongery schedules and specifications for projects submission.
The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure that all ironmongery products comply with project requirements and relevant standards. You will be reporting to Specification Manager based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Specification
- Prepare detailed door ironmongery hardware schedules in accordance with project specifications, architectural drawings, and door schedules.
- Review project documentation, including tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Recommend suitable ironmongery solutions that comply with project requirements and applicable codes.
- Ensure hardware schedules are complete, accurate, and coordinated with door types and functions.
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, fire-rating requirements, accessibility regulations, and project specifications.
- Verify compatibility between doors, frames, hardware, and access control systems.
- Maintain accurate records of revisions and approved schedules.
Documentation & Administration
- Prepare cut sheets, technical submissions, and product documentation.
- Maintain project schedule registers and document control.
- Assist in preparing budget estimates based on hardware schedules for internal records.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Diploma in Architecture, Building, Construction Management or related field.
- Preferably 2–3 years of experience in architectural ironmongery, door hardware scheduling, or specification writing.
- Strong understanding of door hardware products and industry standards.
- Ability to read architectural and construction drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of fire-rated door requirements and accessibility standards.
- Experience with BIM/Revit and specification software.
- Familiarity with access control and electronic locking systems.
