Site Reliability Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to be an integral member of our team. The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is responsible for keeping all cloud platform services and other cloud solutions running smoothly.
The SRE will be a key contributor on a dynamic team, and will become an expert in the most popular cloud software development strategies for dormakaba. We are looking for an independent, self-motivated, and innovative professional to implement industry best practices in a true cloud.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and contribute to designs for issues, epics, and Objectives & Key Results (OKR)
- Contribute to the Handbooks, create and update runbooks and general documentation, and write blog posts
- Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and lead post-mortem discussions
- Be a part of the Cloud Operation on an on-call rotation to respond to service impacting incidents
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Thorough understanding of a cloud CI/CD release process using Jenkins and IAC using Terraform
- Working Knowledge of AWS serverless technologies, services, and infrastructure architecture
- Ability to perform cloud resources provisioning and configuration through CLI/API
- Experience with monitoring and instrumentation: implement metrics using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Kibana and related system
- Experience with Docker container related technologies like Kubernetes, EKS, ECS and Fargate
- Working experience in a variety of languages: Shell, Python, Node.js and others
