Dormakaba is currently looking for an Accountant for overseeing various financial tasks to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements on a regular basis, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure all financial reports comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Record journal entries for transactions and adjustments as necessary.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments, maintaining positive relationships with customers.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and variances.
Cost Accounting:
- Analyze production costs and variances, providing insights to management for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate costing records for inventory and production processes.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, such as pricing strategies, product profitability, and capital investments.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
Compliance and Audit Support:
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, including timely filing of tax returns and payments.
- Assist in the preparation for financial audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- English Language proficiency – minimum B2 level
- Credit management experience is an advantage
