Assembly Manager - Chelopechene

We are currently seeking an Assembly Manager for our site in Chelopechene at dormakaba Bulgaria. The Assembly Manager is responsible for managing a team of production workers to ensure the efficient and effective production of company products. The Assembly Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, quality control, and personnel management, to meet production targets.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
- Production Planning and Organization: Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency and meet customer demand. Coordinate with procurement, planning, and warehouse departments to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production workers to achieve production targets and quality standards. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members perform their duties effectively.
- Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency and meet customer demand. Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, planning and warehouse, to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Continuously monitor and evaluate assembly processes to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of components and finished products to maintain adequate stock levels. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on production metrics, including productivity, efficiency, and quality performance. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
- Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with customer service teams to address any customer inquiries or issues related to the products.
An experience that matters: Your Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environment, specific experience with CNC machines is considered an advantage .

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies is advantageous.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
