A job that matters: Your Tasks
Industrialization of Electronic Assemblies:
- Support the transition of new electronic products into series production
- Assist in production release and validation activities
- Act as technical interface between R&D, purchasing, quality and manufacturing
Product Support & Lifecycle Management (LCM):
- Maintain and manage technical documentation, BOMs, and configuration data in Windchill
- Coordinate and track product changes (ECR/ECO processes)
- Support component lifecycle and obsolescence management
Technical Classification, Export Control & Customs:
- Assist in classifying electronic assemblies under the EU Dual-Use Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2021/821)
- Assign and maintain customs tariff numbers (HS codes) for electronic components and products
- Prepare and support Binding Tariff Information (BTI) / VZTA applications
- Evaluate technical specifications for export control relevance
- Support documentation for classification and communication with authorities
Data Services & Analysis:
- Analyze production and quality data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
- Maintain product-relevant parameters in ERP and PLM systems
- Provide technical support in response to production and field feedback
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Degree or technician training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
- Experience in industrialization and series support of electronic products
- Solid knowledge of SAP (ERP); Windchill (PLM) knowledge is a plus
- Basic understanding of export control, ideally with reference to EU Dual-Use Regulation, including HS code classification and BTI (VZTA) processes
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, change management and data maintenance
- Structured and team-oriented working style with strong technical comprehension in agile SAFe Framework
- Fluent in English, it’s a plus to speak German as well
