Purpose of the Role:

 

Working under the direction of Team Lead Mechanical Engineering, the Engineering Clerk provides administrative support to PD department by performing various tasks such as entering data into ERP systems, assist with the documentation of change management processes, and maintain records related to regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure the Change management tasks are executed as per the agreed Change management process.
  • Receive an Engineering Change Request (ECR) and deliver it to related parties and seek approvals.
  • Create and modify SAP basic data and parts as per Engineering input Verifies that all required data is correctly filled in both PDM and ERP systems
  • Monitor and maintain records related to regulatory requirements and norms.
  • Inform Engineering department if any changes in the norms occur.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operation, production engineering, purchasing and product management

 

An experience that matters: your skills

 

  • 3+ years previous experience working in an administrative support role in engineering and/or manufacturing preferred
  • Experience working with ERP software – SAP experience is an asset
  • Excellent English, German will be a plus
  • Ability to evaluate complex situations in a logical and systematic way and to identify the most critical issues and factors
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes and standards in the industry
  • Solid communication and interpersonal interaction skills
