Main Purpose of the Role:
To establish and standardize processes for managing the dormakaba demand guarantee portfolio on a global scale. This role contributes to the overall financial health of the company by maintaining efficient guarantee processes, which support cash flow management and influence the company's Net Debt position.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
- Work closely with Senior Expert to develop and implement digitized guarantee application processes across an international finance and sales organization
- Apply and negotiate surety and demand guarantee wordings with banks and end clients, ensuring alignment with German law (BGB) and contractual requirements.
- Manage the DACH region's surety and demand guarantee exposure with a high level of self-discipline and resilience, given the large volume of guarantees issued annually.
- Maintain and manage the guarantee application and database software, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing.
- Provide operational support for the DACH Guarantee management.
- Communicate effectively with both internal (Sales, Treasury, Finance) and external (banks, clients) stakeholders to address guarantee-related matters.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in managing a surety or demand guarantee portfolio, preferably in the DACH region or expertise in establishing and executing new processes within an international finance organization
- Proven ability to manage the "order to cash" process or handle a substantial surety portfolio, particularly under German law.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders at various levels.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Fluency in German and English
