The Financial Controller (Manufacturing) will oversee financial activities at the plant level, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with corporate policies. The role requires a hands-on professional with experience in a manufacturing or plant environment, focusing on financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and operational efficiency.

- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze and forecast business performance.
- Monitor and analyze key financial indicators, including revenue, costs, and profitability, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives.
- Evaluate and improve internal controls and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis to assess budget vs. actual performance and identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Provide financial support for decision-making, including investment analysis, pricing strategies, and capital expenditure evaluation.
- Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required by senior management.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles and standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes for plant operations.
- Work closely with auditors and regulatory agencies for financial compliance.
- Evaluate and improve internal controls and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity and support business operations.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Stay current on accounting regulations and updates, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, and accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and cost analysis within a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- CPA, CMA, or other relevant financial certification preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
