A job that matters: Your Tasks
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting and group requirements and standards.
- Consolidate financial data from various sources and present reports to senior management.
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, posting journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
Cost Accounting:
- Analyze production costs, including direct labor, materials, and overhead expenses, to determine product costs and profitability.
- Maintain cost accounting records and ensure accurate allocation of costs to products and services.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, such as evaluating investment opportunities, assessing profitability, and analyzing pricing strategies.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and presentations for management as required.
Compliance and Audit Support:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including GAAP and relevant tax laws.
- Assist in the preparation for financial audits, providing documentation, and supporting audit inquiries.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance roles – 5 years , preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience in day to day tasks as well as reporting – more senior duties.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Accounting and Plant Controlling is highly desirable: Familiarity with manufacturing accounting principles and practices.
- Experience working with ERP systems commonly used in production environments, such as SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements applicable to the manufacturing industry, including tax laws, regulatory filings, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to accurately interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights for management decision-making.
- English language proficiency – B2
- Ability to identify financial issues or discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and develop solutions to address them in a timely and effective manner.
