We are seeking a highly skilled Functional SAP Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and IT, ensuring that SAP solutions meet the business requirements and support the company’s strategic goals. This role involves project management, solution development, governance, and ensuring data consistency across various regions.

 

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

 

Project Scoping and Solution Development:

 

  • Lead project scoping efforts to define and prioritize business requirements.
  • Develop SAP solutions using agile methodologies, ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Create comprehensive project documentation and provide training to end-users.
  • Manage the hand-over of SAP solutions to the business, ensuring smooth transition and adoption.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

 

  • Act as a liaison between business units and Group IT, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Standardize business processes with different value flows for consistent reporting.
  • Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between all stakeholders.

 

Governance and Compliance:

 

  • Serve as a member of the Business Intelligence Competence Center (BICC).
  • Monitor local implementation of global initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate standards.
  • Ensure integrative reporting standards and adherence to data management protocols.

 

Testing and Quality Assurance:

 

  • Act as a key user for reporting, conducting thorough testing of new IT solutions.
  • Ensure new solutions are robust, reliable, and meet predefined quality standards.

 

Data Management and Consistency:

 

  • Monitor data consistency across various systems and processes.
  • Handle data and process disruptions, including root cause analysis, documentation, training, and clearing of reporting sources.
  • Review and assess existing solutions to ensure they continue to meet business needs.

 

Support and Maintenance:

 

  • Provide ongoing support for SAP solutions, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Document and train users on error handling and data consistency protocols.
  • Continuously improve and update existing SAP solutions to enhance business processes.

 

An experience that matters: Your Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP functional analysis or a related role.
  • Proven experience in project management, solution development, and business process standardization.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules and their integration with business processes. (incl. SAP datasphere, AFO, SAP Analytics Cloud)
  • Experience with PowerBI and Salesforce 
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data management and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical terms into business language.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
