Position Overview

 

As a Global Accounting & Reporting Specialist you will support and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of the Group’s global financial reporting (both internal and external) and consolidation processes in accordance with the Group Accounting Manual and the International Accounting Standard IFRS. 

This includes analyzing financial data from subsidiaries, providing expert guidance to local teams, and contributing to training initiatives to finance teams worldwide, and contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting practices and reporting standards. 

Through active involvement and leadership in projects and process optimization, this function helps maintain high-quality financial information that meets regulatory and internal requirements. 

 

What you will do

 

  • Actively contributing to the Group’s global financial reporting and consolidation process and being involved in the preparation of both internal and external financial reporting.
  • Support the continuous improvement and optimization of related finance and reporting processes. 
  • Review and analyze financial data submitted by subsidiaries to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with IFRS and internal guidelines
  • Provide on-demand analytical support for Group Accounting and Group Controlling requirements.
  • Support and train finance staff across the global finance organization, with a focus on tools, systems, and group-wide financial processes
  • Contribute to various projects, such as implementing new accounting standards, conversion to IFRS, and supporting the Year-End and Half-Year audit. 

 

What we require

 

  • 3+ years in Group Consolidation or in the audit of Group financial statements as well as practical experience with International Accounting Standard IFRS.
  • Master’s degree in business administration in Accounting or Economics, Expert in Accounting & Controlling or CPA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proactive and having excellent communication skills, coupled with curiosity and the ability to familiarize yourself with new situations, contexts and tools.
