HR & Payroll Specialist with German

With our continued growth in Sofia, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Payroll Specialist with German to support our operations in Austria. In this role, you will ensure the smooth, accurate, and compliant payroll processes, while supporting essential HR administrative tasks. You contribution will directly impact employee experience, process efficiency, and overall business performance.

 

A JOB THAT MATTERS: Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate and input monthly payroll data to ensure timely and correct payroll runs.
  • Manage payroll activities related to onboarding, offboarding, and salary adjustments.
  • Oversee time tracking, sick leaves, and absence management process.
  • Prepare internal HR reports and contribute to monthly financial reporting.
  • Handle various HR administrative tasks, such as generating contracts, certificates, and updating personnel records.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employee data.
  • Ensure adherence to Austrian labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams.

 

EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS: Your Skills

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international environment.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Hands-on experience with time and attendance tracking, HR systems, and payroll input.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a strong plus.
  • Solid knowledge of Austrian labor law and payroll processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with high attention to detail and discretion.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and adapt to change.
